Introduction
Keelvia is a product of Livesync Inc ("Keelvia," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Keelvia application and related services (the "Service"). Keelvia is a profit-analytics tool for Shopify and direct-to-consumer brands: you connect your store and ad accounts, and we calculate your true net profit and provide AI-assisted guidance. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Store information
When you connect a store (for example, via Shopify), we collect basic store identifiers such as your store name, domain, currency, timezone, and connection tokens needed to read order and product data.
Order data (metrics only)
We process order and transaction data to compute revenue, refunds, discounts, fees, and margin metrics. We store these as aggregated metrics and line-item financials. We do not store individual end-customer personally identifiable information (such as customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses, or payment details) in connection with these metrics.
Cost data
We collect the cost inputs you provide or that we read from connected sources — cost of goods sold (COGS), shipping costs, processing fees, and operating expenses — so we can calculate gross and net profit.
Integration and ad-platform data
If you connect advertising or commerce integrations (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Shopify), we collect spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and campaign-level performance metrics through those platforms' official APIs, using the access you authorize.
Account and usage data
We collect the email address and authentication details you use to create an account, and basic technical and usage data (such as log events and feature usage) required to operate and secure the Service.
How We Use Your Information
- To calculate and display your revenue, costs, and true net profit.
- To generate AI-assisted insights, recommendations, and reports.
- To authenticate you and keep your account and data secure.
- To operate, maintain, debug, and improve the Service.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
AI features may use a provider of your choosing. You can bring your own API key (for Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini), in which case relevant data is sent directly to that provider under their terms, or you can use Keelvia's managed AI option. We do not use your business data to train foundation models.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a Postgres database hosted on Supabase, which also handles authentication. The application is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted to authorized systems and personnel.
When you delete your account or uninstall the app, we delete your associated data within 48 hours, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: infrastructure and processors that operate the Service on our behalf (such as Supabase for database and auth, Cloudflare for hosting, Polar for billing, and the AI provider you select), bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms.
- Legal: when required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Keelvia and its users.
Your Privacy Rights
For users in the EEA (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@keelvia.com.
For California residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Cookies & Tracking
Keelvia uses only essential cookies required for authentication and to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies in the application.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to and is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
